One of the most popular Mexican candies is borrachitos. Puebla was where it first appeared, and there are currently more than 300 varieties. Mexican candies are renowned for their distinctive and rich flavours, which can transport your taste senses to a lovely destination. Therefore borrachitos are one of the most popular Mexican candies.
Basically little candy bars in various colours, borrachitos are a type of candy. These bars have granulated sugar grains on top that give them a crunchy quality as soon as you bite into one. The mild caramel flavour complements the Licor de Café’s delightful coffee liqueur flavour beautifully. Although they are very soft and sweet, they should not be consumed as a snack.
They taste strongly like alcohol (4% alcohol by volume) and have another peculiar flavour that some people find difficult to identify. It resembles drinking a tequila shot with a caramel chaser. Even while some people might find this appealing, not everyone did with borrachitos.
You may try the Licor De Cafe Nuggets since you could think that coffee and caramel would be a better combo. The Cafe De Licor Nuggets are slightly darker than the Tequila Nuggets and, like the Tequila Nuggets, have a very strong alcohol flavour (or like).
The business has stopped employing double-layer paper liners in favour of plastic separators. You can taste the powerful flavour of the Borrachitos de Tequila as soon as you bite into one. You’ll initially taste the caramel in it. The flavour of the alcohol will then strike your taste senses. While Borrachitos de Tequila might not be for everyone, tequila enthusiasts must try borrachitos.
That should fix the problem because they have ceased utilising the double layer and are investigating plastic separators. He was so sure of himself that he sent me a third box of borrachitos in the new packaging so we could try them. However, since we have been out of town and without access to my PO box, we haven’t had a chance to receive them yet.
The borrachitos with tequila were also potent! Caramel flavour comes through right away, followed by the flavour of alcohol with a whoosh. Although we are not very hard-core, we believe tequila enthusiasts and hard liquor connoisseurs would enjoy the flavour. After eating them for a while, they can become quite sweet, so we balance them off with the cheese and grapes. This treat is extremely soft and sticky. Although they are soft, you can still taste some sweet potato in the borrachitos.
